Geofizyka Toruń receives Polish Business Leader Award 2006.
This prestigious award, made by Business Center Club, is one of the most important Polish business rewards and is often referred to as Polish Business Oscar. Golden statues of Polish Business Leader Award has been given since 1991 to companies, which drive their business focusing not only on profit but also on great care for business ethic and national matters.
Geofizyka Torun was awarded with the golden statue for excellent economic results, offering continuous employment opportunities, continuous investment and supporting those in need.
The statue was given to Mr Stanisław Zoń, President & CEO of Geofizyka Torun, during The Great Gala of Polish Business Leaders on 10.02.2007 in The Great Theatre in Warsaw. During this ceremony the special BCC award was also handed out to Mr Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, for efforts given to integration of Poland with The United Europe as well as vision and work for Europe's future.
