Born in 1956. He graduated from the University of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow (Faculty of Geological Prospecting) and completed numerous trainings in Poland and abroad in the field of seismic prospecting and management.
Janusz Zieliński joined GT in 1979 and advanced his career through all positions at Seismic Data Acquisition Department. He also gained extensive experience while working under contracts in India and Syria. He worked as Observer at seismic crew, Field Manager, Seismic Party Chief, Manager of Foreign Contracts Department and Manager of Seismic Data Acquisition Department. In 2004 he became Vice Director for Seismic Data Acquisition.
Janusz Zieliński is highly experienced in conducting seismic surveys for oil and gas prospecting. He is also an expert in the field of formal regulations applying to foreign service contracts.
