Born in 1944. He graduated from the Technical University of Gdańsk, the Faculty of Electronics (1967) and completed numerous trainings in Poland and abroad in the field of management, seismic technology and geophysical systems.
Ryszard Szymeczko joined GT in 1969 and advanced his career through all positions at Department of Geophysical Systems. He worked as Senior Observer at seismic crew, Chief Engineer and Manager of Department of Geophysical Systems. In 1987-88 he participated in the III Geodynamic Expedition to the West Antarctic of Polar Scientific Studies PAN (Polish Academy of Sciences). In 2007 he became Vice Director for Geophysical Systems. Ryszard Szymeczko is an expert at management and advanced seismic technology.
