| Piotr Antonik, MSc Eng |
|
Born in Toruń in 1958, Piotr Antonik graduated in 1982 from the Wroclaw Institute of Technology with an MSc. Eng. in Electronics. In addition, Mr. Antonik earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Finance and Management from the Toruń Higher School of Banking in 2006. He has also completed various courses in fields of marketing and business development, both in Poland and abroad.
Mr. Antonik began his career in 1982 when he joined Geofizyka Toruń's Seismic Data Acquisition Department. With Geofizyka, he has held various domestic and international positions. From 1986 to 1989 Mr. Antonik was seconded to India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. From 1993 to 2005 he worked in Tokyo, taking on various roles for JGI, Inc. as well as other Japanese firms in the oil and gas sector.
In 2005, Mr. Antonik rejoined Geofizyka Toruń as Chief Controller. In 2007, he was promoted to Vice Director of Marketing and Contracts. In 2008 he received the title of Director, and was named Chief Commercial Officer.
In December 2008, Mr. Antonik became a Vice President of Geofizyka and took a seat on the Board of Directors.
