Several tools can be used to attenuate multiple reflections, depending on particular case: wave-equation multiple removal, model-based adaptive multiple subtraction, tau-p filter with interactive design of mute in tau-p domain, fan filter, and F-K filter.
The model-based adaptive multiple subtraction is the latest, very efficient development for land surveys. All tools are at service and can be used depending on result of comprehensive test procedure.
