In modern processing flowcharts DMO is frequently replaced with pre-stack time migration.
Both, in 2D and 3D options, it can be applied as curved ray variant, if needed. That new option not only provides better positioning and focusing of events, but also features several parameters giving better control of the imaging procedure: interactive aperture design, removal of acquisition footprints, and preservation of true amplitude.
