Hazard Identification

Any activity executed by worker, which would create dangerous situation is described in appropriate instructions for safety execution of works such as: drilling, blasting, use of vibrators, surveying, welding, etc.
All seismic group workers are obliged to know Official Letter No. 4/2000 issued by President of the Board - General Director of Geofizyka Toruń Co. dated on 19. 04. 2000, concerning reports of geophysical works and information of extraordinary events.
All employees are to be familiar with mentioned Letter. Events described there are in particular: breaks or considerable limitations of activity having influence on fulfilment of external obligations;
- serious breakdowns and fires;
- natural disasters and environment pollution;
- deadly events, also heavy or collective ones.
All information of that kind is transmitted by phone to the top management of Geofizyka Toruń.
Personnel is informed during safety training about dangers, which occur, or may occur, on the post as well as about manner of hazard limitation and elimination.
In the Enterprise obliges Regulation No 38/2000 of President of the Board of Geofizyka Toruń Co. Ltd dated on 28. Dec. 2000 concerning subject of implementation in the Company: the institutional table of ration norms of individual protection means, working clothing and shoes. Mentioned Regulation includes also instruction concerning administration of rationality of individual protection means, working clothing and shoes.
On positions of work where accident hazard or risk of health loss may occur, workers are provided with proper clothing, working shoes and personal protection equipment (PPE) such as: warmed clothing, warning vests, protective helmets, protective gloves etc.
