Geofizyka Toruń S.A. (GT) is an international geophysical contractor whose core business consists of integrated seismic services and borehole geophysics. For 60 years, GT has been providing services primarily to the oil and gas exploration, appraisal, and production sector, ensuring a comprehensive scope of work — from survey design and data acquisition, through processing, imaging, and interpretation, to borehole logging, data interpretation, and borehole seismics.

GT operates in the markets of Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and South America. It combines operational experience, modern technologies, and expert data analysis and interpretation to create a reliable image of the structure and properties of the geological medium. As a result, investors and operators receive a solid foundation for planning works, preparing project assumptions, and making technical and investment decisions.

GT's core competencies are complemented by geological, geological-drilling, geotechnical, and hydrogeological services, as well as engineering geophysics. This enables the execution of projects requiring the integration of various characterization methods and allows for business expansion into the markets of geothermal energy, offshore wind energy, CCS, underground storage, nuclear energy including SMRs, infrastructure, and minerals resources sector.

What We Do

GT’s offer is based on two main business pillars, complemented by geological and geotechnical services, and developed in new energy, infrastructure, and minerals resources markets.

GT’S CORE BUSINESS

GT’s core business comprises integrated seismic services – design and acquisition, processing and imaging, and data interpretation – as well as well logging, which includes measurements, well data interpretation and well seismic services. These services form the Company’s core area of expertise and are primarily provided to the upstream sector.

GT’s own resources include extensive facilities for comprehensive seismic acquisition, a Data Processing Center, a Seismic Data Interpretation Center, and three Borehole Geophysics Bases with data recording, technical, maintenance, and logistical support. This allows key stages of work to be performed in-house, ensuring process continuity and the adaptation of solutions to the goals and conditions of the contract.

COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES

The core offer is extended by geological, geological-drilling, geotechnical, and hydrogeological services, as well as engineering geophysics. They enable a comprehensive characterization of the subsurface and soil-water conditions, as well as the integration of geophysical data with drilling, cone penetration testing, laboratory testing, and geological documentation.

GROWTH AND DIVERSIFICATION MARKETS

GT’s key competencies are finding increasingly broader applications in geothermal energy, offshore wind energy, CCS, underground storage of gas, CO2, and selected substances, nuclear energy including SMRs, infrastructure, and the minerals resources sector. These are growth and diversification markets where GT leverages proven seismic, borehole, geological, and geotechnical technologies.

The integration of geophysical, geological, borehole, hydrogeological, geotechnical, and laboratory data with expert interpretation creates a reliable basis for characterizing the geological medium, assessing subsurface conditions, preparing project assumptions, and making technical and investment decisions.

GT executes contracts in accordance with international standards of quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015, based on a QHSE Management System compliant with IOGP and EnerGeo Alliance standards.
